Guoqing Chang, Researcher

Guoqing Chang is a Distinguished Research Fellow of the 100 Talent Program launched by the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 2006. In 2012, he was appointed as a Helmholtz Fellow (Germany) and founded the group on ultrafast laser optics and coherent microscopy at the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY), where he was appointed as the leader (PhD supervisor) and received a permanent position at the end of 2016. From 2012 to 2017, he became a visiting researcher at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA. Since 2019, he has been serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). He is currently on the editorial board of Optics Express, an academic journal of the Optical Society of America, on the editorial board of OE Products and News, Acta Photonica Sinica, and on the youth editorial board of Chinese Journal of Lasers.

常国庆，中国科学院物理研究所****特聘研究员，2006年于美国密西根大学获得博士学位。2012年获聘德国亥姆霍兹研究员，在德国电子同步辐射国家实验室（DESY）创建了超快激光光学与相干显微技术课题组，担任课题组长（博士生导师），于2016年底获得永久职位。2012年到2017年，任美国麻省理工学院电机工程系访问研究员。2019年至今获聘美国马里兰大学巴尔的摩分校（UMBC）客座教授(Adjunct Professor)。现担任美国光学学会学术杂志Optics Express编委、担任《光电产品与资讯》《光子学报》编委、担任《中国激光》青年编委。
